Story

Violent in nature yet extraordinarily powerful, he is the leader of the Nero Organization and the owner of the Phoenix Cloth. However, the Phoenix Cloth does not acknowledge him and so he cannot wear it.

Tragic Upbringing: Basic attack, 0 cost

Deals 100% (105%/110%/115%/120%) P.DMG to 1 enemy.

Strength in Numbers: Single-target attack, 2 cost

Deals 200% (210%/220%/230%/240%) P.DMG to 1 enemy. If you have Black Saints, Jango will rally them to attack a random target (doesn't cost Energy when using skills). Each Black Saint has a 60% chance to respond to the rally.

Passive skill - Bravado: 0 cost

As the leader of the Black Saints, Jango becomes bolder with each Black Saint that is deployed, gaining 10% (13%/16%/19%/22%) P.ATK and 5% (7%/ 9%/11%/13%) P.DEF. (cannot be purified or dispelled).

Analysis

Jango revolves around the Black Saints, which makes them solid choices for your lineup. A full team of Black Saints essentially doubles his ATK, which is a very potent increase. He can also use rally on other Black Saints to aid in the battle. He is very effective for a B-class card. The downside is his fixed strategy and lineup.

Cosmo

Red: Fire Drop (P.ATK & Crit DMG)

Yellow: Tenacity (HP & P.DEF)

Blue: Staunch (P.Crit Level)

Special Cosmo: Chain of Hephaestus (deals an extra 40% damage against targets with more than 70% HP):

Jango's attack skill has a high damage multiplier and only costs 2 energy. Combine this with his attack buff and that he can call on the Black Saints to assist him in battle, and you have a very powerful attacker. He makes good use of the Chain of Hephaestus. Add to that the damage from Staunch and the Crit increase from Fire Drop and he can kill squishy targets in one blow.

Lineup

Recommended lineup: Kiki + Black Cultist + Black Ikki + Black Shiryu + Black Andromeda + Jango

Jango's damage increases with every deployed Black Saint. As they are rather squishy, we chose the best three. Black Ikki has AoE attacks and when paired with the right Cosmo, Ikki can launch AoE controls while Black Shiryu deals extra damage to controlled targets. Then add in the Black Cultist with its high SPD and ability to control enemy key targets before their turn. Black Andromeda deals delayed AoE. The AoE damage output of Black Seal is quite good, and Jango's call to arms can speed up the cast time.

Counters

Jango is usually the center piece in teams where he is present. You can't go wrong by targeting him first.
